To Whom It May Concern,

     My name is Chris Peterson and I am the Athletic Director at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I have also coached college football, and was quarterback for Kansas State University. Out of high school my son, Skye Peterson, a center from Millard West High School in Omaha Nebraska was not highly recruited by colleges due to a lack of development and exposure. He had offers to walk on at schools such as University of Nebraska, University of Oklahoma, and the University of Arkansas. He had no scholarship offers from any school at any level coming out of high school.

     Skye and I decided that he needed to attend a prep school to gain another year to develop and to gain nationwide exposure. After visiting other top prep schools we decided that Milford Academy under the direction and coaching of Bill Chaplick was the place where Skye belonged.

     At Milford Academy Skye's game improved tremendously, college coaches that had recruited Skye out of high school, and had also seen his film at Milford Academy said his game had improved 100%. His foot quickness, strength, football knowledge, and toughness had increased tremendously. After the combine which Milford Academy holds Skye had scholarship offers from top D-1A schools such as Syracuse University, University of Arkansas, and Kansas University. He was also ranked as one of the nations top 50 recruits in the country of the 'Fab 50' recruiting website. After visiting Syracuse and Kansas, Skye decided that Kansas was the place for him to be. Skye went from being a kid out of high school with absolutely no scholarship offers to having a chance to start as a true freshman at a Big XII school. I cannot say enough about what Coach Bill Chaplick and Milford Academy did for Skye. As a Division-1A Athletic Director I would recommend Milford Academy to any student athlete who needs another year of development, nationwide exposure, or great coaching.
