Coach Stansbery returns home to Milford Academy where he played under Coach Chaplick in 2002. He continued is career at Cincinnati in the Big East under current Michigan State Head Coach, Mark Dantonio, lettering for his first two seasons. Derick transferred the following year to Grand Valley State where he helped lead the Lakers to a Division 2 National Title and a NCAA record breaking 40 game winning streak. Milford is thrilled to have a young man with Derick's multiple talents on staff. Welcome back Coach!
